Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book a table?

No need. At times we may be full and then the next minute we’ve got plenty of room- it’s the luck of the draw! We promise we’ll try our best to squeeze you in

Do you have vegan, gluten free or low alchohol drinks?

Absolutely! We always try to stock vegan, gluten free and low alchohol options at all times. Check out our menu to see what we’re serving up this week

Are dogs allowed in the pub?

Dogs are more than welcome in The Malt and Mardle (in fact, they’ll probably make our day!)

Please be aware, however, that the dried hops hanging from our ceiling are harmful to dogs so please keep a close eye on them

Do you have a car park?

Unfortunately we don’t have a car park but there are great transport options near to us.

Car: You can park for 30 minutes in the lay by opposite our pub, or park in Magdalen Car Park that is a few minutes walk away from us opposite Anglia Square.

Bus: Alternatively, because we are city based there are many bus stops around us making this transport mode a great option.

Is The Malt and Mardle accessible?

Making sure everyone feels welcome in our micropub is important to us and we’re trying our best to make it accessible for individuals with disabilities. Unfortunately due to the historical nature of the building we’re in, there are some small steps and narrow doorways which make wheelchair access very difficult. If you’re unsure, please send us a Direct Message or email before visiting the pub and we’ll try our best to make accomodations
